Splitter
SPLITTER
Splitter is a small arcade incremental. A run is a short burst of breaking: shapes pour onto the field, you tear through them for fragments, and when your charge runs dry you spend the earnings on the upgrade board and dive straight back in!
Two ways to break things
Shoot: a turret fires on its own while you aim. Each pulse rings out and cracks everything it catches.

Slice: click once and your blade cuts wherever you move; click again to stop. Line up the crowd and take it apart in one stroke.

Six chapters, six machines
Every chapter has its own look, its own stock of shapes and a boss machine guarding the way on.

One upgrade board
Fragments, skill points, boss cores and prisms all get spent on upgrades that make your next run even better.

Controls
Mouse to aim, cut and use the menus
Slice: click to start cutting, click again to stop
Esc pauses · Tab on the board: next affordable upgrade · hold to buy more
Options
Sound and music mood · CRT look (off / soft / full) and bloom · screen shake and flash strength · background motion · high contrast · big text
About this demo
This free browser demo covers chapters 0 to 5 and all six bosses: roughly one and a half to two hours to see everything. Progress saves in your browser. Press the fullscreen button: Splitter is drawn for 2× and 3× (a 1080p screen is an exact 3×). Best played in a desktop browser (Chrome, Edge or Firefox) with a mouse.
I'm deciding how far to take Splitter, so feedback means a lot! Please let me know how Shoot and Slice feel (I can't decide which to keep), whether the pacing drags or rushes, and which boss you liked (or hated). Leave a comment below!

Feels good to play. OST is a bit bland and does not fit the game very well.
I would keep both the shooting and the slicing however first impressions is that slicing is much more efficient than shooting. Maybe shooting needs some buffing.
love it. looking forward to the full game!
Hey thank you so much for giving it a go ! I'll keep working on it, and let me know if you have any improvement suggestions :)
